Whatever your motivation, congratulations on making the first step. - Run a green team table at festivals and environmental events
- Provide Communications Plan input

Fundraising Volunteer
- Build our funder database
- Provide Fundraising Plan input
- Research new funding avenues
Education Volunteer
- Create and do presentations at schools about the importance of taking care of our environment
- Provide input on green team educational materials
- Help run green team activities (unpack and pack green team activity supplies, supervise, sign participants in, educate about invasive species identification and removal techniques and native species planting)
Photographer Volunteer
- Take photos of volunteers in action
- Take before and after photos at green team activities

M’akola ILBC Housing Society
By giving your time, you are helping seniors remain independent and active. You also contribute to improving their quality of life so they live a life they enjoy! you will help to assist with special events like teas, entertainment, birthday parties, and fundraisers. As well, to lead small group activities like mental aerobics, active games, discussion groups, board games, etc.

The Maritime Museum of British Columbia
The Maritime Museum of BC is currently seeking volunteers for our archives, located at our off-site collection storage facility. Prospective volunteers will catalogue and inventory our Ships’ Plan collection. This role requires detailing the physical size, location, and condition of each plan individually.

Trail Builder – Natural Surface Trail Building
Volunteer Trail Builders can help with digging in the dirt, moving rocks, and carrying buckets of dirt or rocks. Other activities might include clipping and moving bushes, and carrying lumber for bridges. We work outside in forested areas.
